Agape Villages mobilizes community resources to provide quality homes, innovative solutions and the highest of professional services to disadvantaged children and their families to meet their needs, maximize their potential and lead toward a better and brighter future.
How to Volunteer
1) I have a volunteer council that meets virtually, once a month. These people help me plan our major events of the year (Auction, Foster Care Awareness Month, Jail N Bail) and help out at the events. The time commitment is only about one hour per month, but it can be more before major events.
2) Also, we are always looking for foster parents. We turned down over 1700 kids last year because we didn’t have enough foster homes available. We are always recruiting, and training to certify new parents and the process only takes 6 weeks – then they are able to take in a child.
If you are interested in fostering a child or know someone who is, please contact us. Foster parents receive financial assistance.
